The Mom Behind Milk Drop
Hi there! I’m Jenny, the owner of Milk Drop Keepsakes and a first-time mom to a boy. I began creating breastmilk jewelry after becoming a mom and realized how important my breastfeeding journey was to me. I wanted to preserve a keepsake of it as a reminder of everything my baby and I went through together. I fell in love with the process and creativity of making these pieces and soon found myself wanting to share this craft with other moms.
My breastfeeding journey wasn’t easy—it rarely is! After an emergency c-section, my baby was transferred to another hospital, and I couldn’t latch him right away. He was given donor milk while I pumped on a schedule, and after we were reunited a few days later, we struggled with painful latching due to his tongue and lip ties. Despite my efforts, I struggled with low milk supply and eventually made the difficult decision to combo feed and introduce formula. It was a tough but necessary choice for my mental and emotional well-being. I’m so thankful for what my body was able to do, but also for the formula that helped ensure my son got the nutrition he needed.
This journey inspired me to launch Milk Drop Keepsakes to offer affordable and trustworthy keepsakes for other moms. Whether you’re breastfeeding, formula feeding, or a mix of both, nothing fills my heart more than creating pieces that capture your unique story. This is why I also offer formula keepsakes, because every journey is worth celebrating.
Thank you for being here ♡
