We understand that it’s never easy to open an urn, and it’s okay if it takes time to send the ashes. Please keep us informed if there are delays. We always encourage you to avoid doing anything you're uncomfortable with—feel free to reach out to your local funeral home. They can often help by opening the urn and setting aside a small amount for your jewelry.

Please triple bag your milk using sterile milk storage bags to prevent spills, as these bags are designed to keep your milk safe. Avoid using Ziplock bags for shipping, as they are prone to leaking. Breastmilk naturally has antibacterial and antifungal properties, so if mold appears, it is often due to contaminated pump parts or unsanitized packaging. To ensure your milk stays safe, package it with clean hands and avoid touching the inside of the bags. Moldy milk will not be accepted. If the milk spills due to improper packaging or arrives moldy, a 20% fee will be deducted from your total, and the remainder will be refunded.
You will cover the cost of shipping your inclusions to us. You are responsible for tracking your inclusions once shipped our way. We ship your finished piece for free in the USA!
Write down your full name and order number on ALL your bagged inclusions so we can match to your order. Number will be located in your order confirmation.
4-6 weeks turn around times. Turn around times start when we receive your inclusions. You’re responsible of sending us inclusions at your own time. No rush but please don’t take too long after purchasing. We will try to outreach 3 months after your purchase if we have not received your inclusions.

When comparing sterling silver and solid gold for keepsake jewelry, there are important differences in terms of price, durability, and care that you should consider:
Price:
Sterling silver is a more affordable option compared to solid gold. It’s a great choice if you're looking for a high-quality metal at a lower price point.
Solid gold, especially 14K or 18K, is significantly more expensive due to its purity and lasting value, making it a luxury choice for keepsake jewelry.
Durability:
Sterling silver is a durable metal, but it’s softer than gold and may tarnish over time if not properly cared for. However, it can easily be polished back to its original shine.
Solid gold is more resistant to tarnishing and corrosion, but it's still a soft metal, especially in higher karats. It can scratch or dent if not handled with care.
Care:
Even with solid gold, it’s essential to take proper care of your jewelry due to the delicate nature of the resin stone used in keepsake pieces. The resin, while durable, is not indestructible and can be scratched or damaged if exposed to harsh environments, chemicals, or water.
Keepsake jewelry, whether made with sterling silver or solid gold, is not meant to be worn daily. It should be treated as a cherished memento rather than an everyday accessory. This means removing it before activities that might expose it to rough conditions, moisture, or heat.
Earrings vs. Rings:
Earrings tend to be more durable than rings simply because they experience less contact and wear. Rings, being more exposed to frequent hand movements and surfaces, are more susceptible to scratches and general wear.
Ultimately, regardless of the metal choice, taking care of your keepsake jewelry ensures it remains a treasured symbol of your special moments for years to come.
